So Jerry says the other day he's not on the bridge yet, but he's on the ramp, and if he goes, he's taking some people with him. Personally, we nominate Ollie first, along with a host of others.
Yes, it's still April. However, this team looks like it's the dog days of August, and that they've played through a hurricane and come out battered and beaten. There really isn't much else to say; right now, our beloved gangstas suck. How depressing. There isn't even any good gossip to keep us going.

Yes, watching Ollie this afternoon was just pain.... what was up with Belts not sliding? I don't know Murphy still struggles and DW is in a rut..... Ya I'm like so over this team :( Maybe it's time to bring in a team shrink. Maybe they ought to do like team building things? lol

ReplyDeleteNot that it mattered in the end - he is the only one hitting, and can't do it all himself. A shrink is a good idea :)
Why didn't Carlos Beltran slide on that attempted steal of second with David Wright at the plate instead of pull up and get tagged out? Beltran said he mistakenly thought Wright had made contact with the ball and that it was in play, and he froze because he couldn't locate it. You'll remember Tuesday in St. Louis that Beltran didn't slide and was tagged out by Yadier Molina at the plate. His reason then: He was watching the baseball and didn't realize how close he was to the plate until it was too late.
ReplyDeleteYa, well I am at the bridge and am thinking about jumpin (at least with a cable) ..... I'm just too scared to know how John Maine will do tonight... They can't send both Ollie & Maine to bp ??????? wow, this season is an all around BUST so far and it's ONLY April :( Can't imagine it getting any worse, can it? At least John has an excuse, surgery, what is Ollies???? The Metskies are really KILLING Me here...... Good Lord do I need to make a trip to the Bronx soon?
